Slayed? was the band’s third album, reaching no 1 and staying on the charts for 34 weeks.
Support band Thin Lizzy had earlier in the year released their second album Shades Of A Blue Orphanage, the title being a combination of the members two previous bands, Shades Of Blue and Orphanage.

Suzi Quatro, also on the bill had moved to the UK after being spotted by record producer Mickey Most. Quatro had been signed to RAK and was yet to score a hit but that was to change the following year with her single Can The Can reaching No 1.
