Super Marine are a four-piece rock band from Blackwood, South Wales featuring Rhys Davis on vocals/guitar, Matt Davies on Guitar, Dan Barrell on Bass and Jay Price on drums. Their sound infuses gutsy guitar driven melody lines, classic vocal hooks and an energetic rhythm section which create super-charged anthems laced with sing-along refrains that cry out for audience participation.
Formed in the summer of 2019, Super Marine enjoyed a successful start to their musical journey by taking their high energy live show around the UK, highlights being sellout shows around South Wales including Cardiff’s 10 Feet Tall, Blackwood Miners Institute and Newport’s Le Pub.
With regular support via airplay from BBC Radio Wales and a nomination for best band in the Cardiff music awards 2020, Super Marine have cemented themselves as one of South Wales’ and the UK’s must-see bands.
