By the age of 16 I was playing in bands and by age 18 was working as a professional musician.

After touring various parts of the world with many bands including Paris, Go Wast, Tenn, Dead Cats, Damage, BigWorld and Ratrace,Kid Gloves, I worked as a tour/studio guitarist and bass player.

My experience in the music industry also includes composing music for TV programmes, adverts and writing songs for other artists in a variety of different genres.

After stopping playing live I turned my attention to teaching people guitar full-time from home teaching an average of 35 and 45 students a week.

Guitar playing, tuition and production is my profession as opposed to a part-time sideline.

Luke is also passionate about music education. With over 20 years experience as a guitar/music tutor Luke has taught in numerous schools, colleges and universities and currently lecturers/tutors on both BMus and BA (hons) contemporary music degree courses. Luke also teaches guitar privately and offers online Skype/video call lessons direct from his studio.

All styles and standards catered for, from beginners to improvers through to the more advanced.
All aspects of guitar playing and technique are covered as well as contemporary music theory/harmony, ear training, improvisation and composition. 
Lessons are tailor made to suit your individual needs and requirements.
Luke also uses the worldwide recognised Rockschool and Trinity exam boards should pupils wish to take grade exams. 
Luke is fully CRB checked (a copy of the CRB certificate is available on request).
